ALOHA Oahu Bikini babes! Let us take you back to our Grand Opening event on February 17, 2017.This will be our 6th store on the island of Oahu. It’s located in the new Ka Makana Ali’i mall in Kapolei (between KoKo & Palenki and Skechers). We are obsessed with its wide open space, classic white walls, and floor to ceiling windows, which sets the tone for a minimal atmosphere that beautifully showcases our bikinis.
We’re so thrilled to connect with Our West Oahu community. We hope our store will be as appealing and sparkling as this beautiful Kapolei area.
Beyond this pure white and & simple beautiful atmosphere, the day was full of thrilling activities! We had a DIY table on the opening day: Macrame bracelets! See how to make your own here >>

The rumors are true and we are SO excited to be opening a new store on the BIG ISLAND of Hawai’i! We will be opening on November, so call your gals on the Big Island & let ’em know we are coming for them! Follow @sanlorenzo_bigisland on instagram to stay tuned for updates.
Our O’ahu brand ambassadors Michelle and Tatyana couldn’t wait until the store opening in November to explore, so they packed their bags and took a flight over as soon as they could. Their hearts were hopeful, but nothing could prepare them for the adventures to come, including the opportunity to take a spontaneous trip with Hawaiian Lava Boat Tours.
Our first morning, Tatyana and I awoke to the the most gorgeous sunlight in our jungle bungalow. The birds were singing and the smell of the ocean joined us as we explored our tree house and enjoyed a yummy breakfast.
Next, we cruised to a stunning black sand beach.Prepared with our dive gear, we set out into the crystal clear waters. We swam for hours off shore and around to secret coves, where we climbed up rocks and practiced our diving. We laughed and played all day in the waves, it was BEAUTIFUL.
Then, it happened. Our encounter with lava. We met up with Hawaiian Lava Boat Tours, loaded on the boat, shaking with anticipation, and began the hour long ride to the volcano.
At first sight we could see the volcano far off in the distance. Then suddenly, it was there. What can only be described as pure magic, we experienced lava pouring into the ocean. Bursting and bubbling the fiery red molten lava spewed just feet away from us.In awe, we could barely contain our joy, occasionally dancing and dipping our toes in at safe distances.
We couldn’t believe our eyes and the memory will never be forgotten. HUGE thanks to Captain Kai and Hawaiian Lava Boat Tours for such an incredible, unique experience
Big Island, you are too perfect. We can’t wait to open our new store in November and become part of such a magical place! Follow our Big Island store on Instagram to see what we’ll have in store!
We are so excited to introduce MOONA WHYTE: Hawaii native, world traveler, professional kite surfer and our newest blog contributor. Moona’s latest excursion took her and her favorite Mermaid Dreams ‘kinis on an incredible trip throughout the Eastern Australian Coast. Follow Moona to the land down unda and stay tuned for the many adventures to come.
I made it to Australia! It’s no surprise that one of the best thing to do here is to go on a road trip. The coast is full of rocky points with perfect waves and beautiful lookouts. All you need is a surf van and a road map (ok, or your iPhone). We started in the quiet town of Agnes Waters. It’s located five hours north of Brisbane, in Queensland and is near the popular caravan park in Seventeen Seventy.
Our next stop was the surf spot located on a massive white sand beach. I wore my favorite ‘kini for surfing: the Kelp Koi & White Sand Sport suit, paddled out on my longboard and caught mini wave after mini wave. I surfed until golden hour when the beach was empty, my arms were tired and my heart was happy. Then we climbed up the headland for a view of the gorgeous blue water below. Talk about a perfect day.
The next morning we continued onwards down south to the Sunshine Coast (yes, it’s as sunny and beautiful as it sounds). The road was long and ran through grassy fields and hills. Kangaroo sightings: One.
Next stop, Noosa. The Noosa National Park extends from Sunshine Beach, around Alexandria Bay, to the headlands at Noosa. I dedicated multiple days of my trip in Australia to walking along the National Park Trail. The National Park Trail starts at First Point as a boardwalk and spans to the Little Cove lookout. From there, you can walk along the rocks or stay on the boardwalk until you get to Nationals. Then there is Tea Tree Bay, an amazing point break for surfing, and finally Granite Bay. I heard about a secret ‘fairy pool’ at one end of Granite Bay and was determined to find it. Sometimes, all you have to do is walk around a little bit to find these secret spots.
The main pool had a beautiful blue-green hue and super clear, glassy water. I climbed down right away for a dip. There were blue jellyfish at the bottom of the pool that got washed in by the swells. Even the jellyfish are beautiful here. On the way back, I jumped in the water at Granite and pod of dolphins swam by showing us their fins. They didn’t hang around for a photo op but nevertheless, it was a gorgeous day adventuring in my new Ocean Braided Thong!
Now, let’s talk waterfalls. Most people travel to Australia in search of waves (ok, that’s what I did too), but a lot of people don’t know about the abundance of hikes and waterfalls just inland from the coast. When I heard about a massive 360ft waterfall not far from the beach where we were surfing, I just couldn’t help myself. I grabbed my Fuschia Caged Thong kini and Shallow Reef Studio tee and headed to the hills!
Unlike pretty much every waterfall I’ve been to, the hike started at the top! We drove up the mountain and parked at the top of the waterfall, then climbed down the stairs to the pool at the bottom. If you happen to find yourself on the Gold Coast of Australia, I would highly recommend visiting the Springbrook National Park. It is full of incredible waterfalls and hikes for anyone looking for an adventure. I only had time for one waterfall this trip, but I’ll be back next time for more!
This trip was absolutely one for the books. There’s nothing like hopping in a van and chasing waves in place far away from home. The Australian Coast is full of hidden gems like the waves, tide pools, waterfalls and breath-taking views I was lucky enough to see. I can’t wait to go back!
We are on the hunt for blog contributors like Moona who have a passion for life and love for beach culture. Please email us at email@example.com, we’d love to hear from you!
Meet the third muse in our ‘Meet our Mind Bali Soul’ series, Charlotte D’Alessio! With just one look, Charlotte, just 18 years old, won us over with her bronzed beauty and piercing green eyes. We knew right away she would embody every bit of our Mind Bali Soul collection and be a perfect muse.
This shoot was our first time working with Charlotte, and it was one of our favorites for a few reasons!
Now… a shoot with a green eyed babe and bikinis wouldn’t be the same without a corgi puppy. We invited Miss Chibi to join the mix. Emily Wang is the master mind behind Chibi’s photogenic talents and not to mention that she gets to cuddle her up every day!
Talking about bedroom goals… Charlotte’s white, dreamy bedroom was just the perfect location to capture her and the Mind Bali Soul collection.
SL: We love the beachy-boho vibes that your room has… The second we saw it on Instagram we knew it would be the absolute perfect location. I’m sure it was the perfect ‘I just rolled out of bed morning.’ Where did you get your decor inspo?
Charlotte: I got most of my inspo from my dad. He has really good style when it comes to home decor. All I said was all white- and he took over and made it what it is.
And action! Wait till you see how Chibi owns the camera.
SLB: This shoot we are doing something a little different, shooting with a Corgi! Did you feel like he was trying to take the spotlight? I mean, Cheebs knows how to work the camera!
Charlotte: LOL. Chibi was really fun to work with, especially because if he was doing his thing you knew the photo was going to be really good. However, if he wasn’t paying attention it took a little longer to get the shot, but i think deep down inside he was just trying to be cute and sassy, he knew that we had to wait for the perfect moment to get the shots! And lets not forget that for us to get the shots, it would cost Emily a few dog treats.
SLB: You said you’re a makeup guru, do you have any special tricks or tips? Your bronzed glow is always on fleek.
Charlotte: I’m actually so bad at doing makeup. I just love playing with it. But, I think less it always more. Don’t cover your face with makeup. I think the trend recently is to kinda change your face using contour and things like that. But, to just stick to your color, skin texture and shape is always the prettiest, I think.
SLB: From our Mind Bali Soul collection, what is your favorite style?
Charlotte: I really like any of the cheeky bottoms. I think the San Lorenzo Bikini’s bottoms make your bum look so good!
SLB: Lastly, what is one thing you would like our readers to know?
Charlotte: Hmm, probably that this was one of my favorite shoots because not only did I get to play with the cutest little dog, but I also got to shoot in my own bedroom. So a big thank you to San Lorenzo Bikini’s for providing that! ❤
Curious to see how a Kailua SL babe spends a typical July day? We followed around our babes Melia, Michelle and Cat in order to see how they spend their summer days under the sun. Everything from exploring Kailua, to eating fresh goodness at Nalu Health Bar & Cafe, to shopping around our Kailua store with the besties, to finally ending the day with a kayak & stand up session, our girls make sure to do it in style with their San Lorenzo ‘kinis in hand.
But first, Brunch. We all know there is absolutely no better way to start the day than with a delicious brunch, and when its healthy….that’s a major plus. Our babes took a pit stop at Nalu Health Bar & Cafe to get their day going. Enjoying everything from Acai Bowls to Ahi Tuna wraps to Vitamin Sea Juice we quickly decided Nalu Health Bar & Cafe is our new favorite picturesque spot.
Next, we took a walk to Kailua Town Ball Park to work off brunch and warm up for the rest of the day by dancing and cartwheeling around the green grass.
You used to call me on my shell phone (and how pretty are our island style public phones?)
Rule of thumb: Never buy a bikini without your besties approval.
Don’t forget to snap a selfie in front of the palm leaf wall! Always use the #SLKailua and you might be featured on Kailua’s insta feed!
After the girls bought their new goodies, they made their way around the corner to Kailua Beach Adventures to rent some kayaks and stand up paddle board to cool off after a fun day.
Finally, the girls set out and went past the buoys towards the Mokes. The sun was hot making the water feel cool and refreshing. While the currents were strong, the paddling was quite the workout, but at the same time, ocean is always therapeutic.
We hope you enjoyed a peak of a day in the home town of our Kailua store! Stay rad.
Check out San Lorenzo Oahu’s Instagram for weekly updates on new arrivals, exciting news and visit our Kailua store at:

And just like that, Miami Swim Week 2016 is wrapped! This year we debuted our newest collection Le Romantique. Our ambition was to create a powerful experience, a fantasy of infinite travel with french infusion. Envision a girl with a free soul embarking on her travels through Europe and her craving for wanderlust is what drives her passion. Weren’t able to make it? No problem. Keep reading to feel like you were sitting front row at our show & sipping drinks from coconuts at our cocktail party.
We want you all to be able to experience the aloha we felt at this show. You can expect to feel the translated passion from the artisans that handmade each and every ‘kini in the collection. Le Romantique is an ode to the creative spirit. Needless to say, our SL babes absolutely rocked these looks on the runway.
Everything was carefully selected starting with the french infused music by DJ Godiva that the models walked the runway to. As the show continued, pictures of places from around the world from the owner, Lisseth Figueroa, covered the walls giving the audience a taste of her thirst for wanderlust. Each look was accessorized by Child of Wild jewelry along with head wraps that match our collections prints. Red roses lined the runway causing the audience fall in love with this collection.
The night started out with a magical set up of bright lights around a pool lined with a banana leaf wall. Did someone say Instagram heaven?! We were serving guests yummy drinks in coconuts given to us by COCO & Co mixed with Vita Coco to keep our VIPs hydrated. Miami decided to cool us down with little bit of rain before our show, but that didn’t stop us.
As the guests filed in, we made sure to snap some shots of our SL babes…
Gypsyone Blogger, Jenah Yamamoto
Lights, Camera, Cue Music & ACTION! And with that, our show was in full swing. Major babe, Anne De Paula opened our show in a brand new never before seen style, Plunge Monokini in Savanna. Did someone say fuego?
You know we’ve got your back, we kept some of your favorite styles around! Celeste Bright rocked our Braided Hipster Strap in Flamenco down the runway.
Marcela Braga looked exotic in the never before seen Braided V Knot in Aloalo.
As much as our guests were having fun in the front of the house, backstage was also quite the party! With makeup touch ups from Beauty for Real our girls were dancing the night away to the beat of the music.
Closing the show with love, our SLB owner and designer, Lisseth Figueroa and her daughter, Anabel walked to end the night.
We hope you were able to feel the aloha vibes and live vicariously through us! Hope to see you next year in Miami!
Sending lots of love and appreciation to Mother Nature this Mother’s Day for our deep blue waters, our tall mountains and everything in between! Constantly sending thanks for bearing and protecting our beautiful Earth.
We had one of our very own mommies, Ashley L from our corporate team shared a Q&A with us following her recent Tahitian adventure with her husband and 10 month old daughter, Liv Hi’leihali’aaloha. The family explored exotic, French Polynesian waters and sandy beaches in their matching SLB during their tropical getaway.
What are you favorite San Lorenzo styles?
It is obvious that when becoming a mommy, your body completely changes. I can still wear the SL styles that I love that continues to make me feel beautiful and confident in my own skin. I’d like to say that San Lorenzo has many “mommy-friendly” kinis in their collections, my favorites including the Sport Brief and the High Neck Interlace. They make me feel cute and I’m able to run around comfortably with my little girl in and out of the water.
Liv absolutely loves the water. She has been going to the beach since the womb. Sitting with her on the shore and tide pools at home has really helped her get comfortable near the water. Now, she runs in and out and on the shoreline all by herself. She really enjoyed our canoe rides in the lagoon and floating around in her floatie while we snorkeled next to her.
How did you get your daughter to hold her breath under water?
Her grandpa once told us that blowing into her face would cause her to close her eyes and mouth. Just before putting her under water, I whispered in Liv’s ear and told her she was going to go under the water and to hold her breath when Daddy blew in her face. It worked…sort of! She cried a couple times after coming up and wiping the salt water out of her eyes but otherwise was just amazed at what had just happened and wanted to do it over and over again. She’s a natural now! At this point, I think she would rather be in water than on land. She has always been surrounded by water, which has led to her wandering curiosity towards it.
These are available online and at selected stores. I just grabbed all of my bikinis and searched through each stores inventory to find ones that matched mine. I was happy we were able to find so many cute ones I had to narrow down my selections.
Sandy skin, salty hair and a collection of bikinis too beautiful to keep from the world. Lost in a dreamland with our Oahu babes in the best of our MIND BALI SOUL bikinis.
Seeing my other fellow brand ambassadors, I knew I was in for a treat.
I peered at our setting for the day. Overlooking the ocean, our bohemian lunch was beyond stunning. A beautifully crafted wood table was perched on the sand, surrounded with rustic pillows and adorned with fresh flowers and greenery.
The waves washed along the shore and the sun was perfectly warm with just enough shade for us to sit under. It felt surreal, as if we had been transported to the setting of a movie. I grabbed a quick hug with all my girls before sitting down for lunch.
A family of our own, we sat around the table excited for the delicious meal before us. Banzai Sushi made its way around the table, the platter covered in a rainbow of seafood.
It was beyond delicious! We quickly piled our plates – between bites we were catching up, enjoying each others company to the fullest.
Our stomachs were stuffed. Between the amount of tasty food we ate and the goofy jokes Alyssa told our tummies were hurting.
We were full and couldn’t manage to wait another second for what was next. The bikinis!
The time had come to slip into the new MIND BALI SOUL collection. I was immediately in love as I grabbed my new bikini – the material soft and the color so bright! Aqua blue with a white mandala design, it was exactly my style.
We were eager to put the new suits on, and changed in to them as fast as we could once we received them. I took a step back and admired the beautiful collection, on a group of such stunning ladies. Before I knew it I was grabbing Michelle’s hand, pulling her into the ocean with me.
Later, we returned to our girls, dancing on the beach, running through the waves – we couldn’t get enough. We were living in our dream world. The sun was setting and I was happily tired, my soul overjoyed.
I sat back down at our little table and watched the day wined down. The sound of the ocean calmed me. I was surrounded by my loves. In the final moments we sat in silence, taking in the greatness of the day, in our new San Lorenzo Bikinis.
A true adventure, we will always have this day to look back on, and I am forever grateful for that.
Love your fellow mermaid.
